Violence gripped KPK’s provincial capital on Saturday as six people including a father and his son were killed in separate incidents in various localities of the city.
Per details, motorcyclists sprayed bullets at a vehicle near Governor House at Shershah Souri Road killing one person on the spot and injuring two others. The deceased and the injured were rushed to hospital where another succumbed to his wounds raising death toll to two. The deceased were identified as Younas Beg and his son Saifullah while the injured was identified as Inamullah. Police said that the murders were acts of targeted killings.
Meanwhile, bullet riddled bodies of four persons were recovered from an unpopulated area of Badu Samarbagh, a sub-urban area of Peshawar. Police said that the deceased were shot dead and their bodies
were dumped. Identity of the deceased was confirmed as Shahnawaz, Mansoor, Misri Khan and Ishfaq and they hailed from Peshawar city. The reason for the four killings was pronounced by police as ‘personal enmity’.
