Lahore High Court (LHC) Justice Anwarul Haq refused on Friday to hear a case the regarding the fake degree of a former minister Ghulam Sarwar and returned the case to the LHC chief justice. On resumption of the hearing of the case, a single bench of the LHC comprising Justice Anwaar ul Haq was told by the plaintiff and the former minister Ghulam Sarwar that the case regarding his fake degree was instituted for political revenge. He urged the court to stop the investigation until the verdict on his petition. However, Punjab Prosecutor General said as the fake degree charge against Ghulam Sarwar had been proved, his pre-arrest bail should be annulled.
