Two cops of Mahotta police station were brought unconscious at the Chandka Medical College Hospital in Larkana on Friday.
They were given a sedative substance by unknown criminals during night duty after which they fell unconscious. The unknown criminals also deprived them of their government rifles, purses, cell phones and other valuables.
The cops were identified as Ayaz and Hussain Bux Shahani. Doctors treated them and termed their health out of danger.
It may be noted here that three students of Agani village are yet to be recovered by the Mahotta police, who were kidnapped from on 08 January 2013.
One of the abductee, Suhail Bhutto, is the cousin of SHO Ayaz Bhutto, while two others are Majid Kehar and Azhar Kehar.
