A strike was observed in Karachi on the call of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat against the target killings in Karachi, a private TV channel reported.
Traffic remained thin on the roads while schools and businesses were also closed.
Incidents of rioting and firing were also reported in several areas while protesters
remained busy burning tyres on the roads.
Rioters blocked the National Highway near Quaidabad’s Murghi Khana area whereas Mauripur road was closed for traffic by protestors.
Two cars were torched in Kharadar area.
One person was killed by gunfire near Capri cinema on M. A. Jinnah road.
Peace in Karachi only possible by handover to army and do swat like operation also there should be military police which by be controlled by army instead of politicians because police is already part of so called corrupt democratic government.
