Over eight persons were killed in a blast at a security forces checkpost in Kalaya, Orakzai agency, a private TV channel reported.
According to the reports, 15 people sustained injuries in the remote-controlled blast in a busy market chowk of the agency’s headquarters.
The target is believed to be anti-Taliban tribe Ferozkhel who were attending a gathering.
The anti-Taliban tribes are frequently targeted in the region.
