Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will continue with its outreach to the parties who have not been a part of the “muk muka” over the last five years, PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood said while commenting on a statement made by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Rana Sanaullah. “PML-N and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are both the sides of the same coin and form the political oligarchy that has ruled the country for the last thirty years,” Shafqat said, adding that they had both brought the country to its knees. He said the reason why National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was not taking an action against the Sharifs over the six corruption cases that were pending with it was that PPP and PML-N had joined hands secretly. “What scares PPP and PML-N is the fact that other parties could come into power and they are trying to stop that from happening,” he said, adding that the parties did not want to be held accountable for what they had been doing during the last five years. He said his party would not tolerate any delay in elections and it would continue the struggle for holding free and fair elections. He said PTI had not decided to form an alliance with any party but it would continue to hold discussions with everybody for the upcoming elections.
