Islamabad Highway has been missing streetlights from Koral Chowk to GT Road for the past five years which has caused major accidents during the night, due to the slackness of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Several housing schemes have been developed alongside the highway. These include PWD, Pakistan Town, Gulberg, National Police Foundation, Media Town, Korang Town, and Judicial Town, which are home to thousands of people. Heavy traffic on the inter-provincial highway faces trouble due to the lack of road lights.
IN sreet NO 47 F/11/3 Islamabad, the steerts lights are missing. I have personally requested in writing to concerned director CDA to repair the same but nothing has been done. I am planning to file a complaint before the consumer court Islamabad for redress of my grievance.
