Nisar detests Imran Qadri duo for opposing CEC

Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Friday lashed out at Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri for voicing their opposition against the constitutional appointment of Chief Election Commissioner.

Speaking to reporters outside the Parliament House, Nisar said that General Pervez Musharraf was acceptable to both Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.

Qadri’s statements are now being liked by the PML-Q leaders, he said, asking whether they were sleeping when the bill on the restructuring of ECP was moved in the house. He said that PML-N would not allow the tabling of a controversial bill at the eleventh hour, adding, “rulers want to hijack the name of Quaid-e-Azam. Nothing has been spared in this country” .

The rulers, he added, want to name Quaid-e-Azam Hospital after Zulfikar Ali Bhutto
