Unidentified people attacked the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) near Nisar Shaheed Park area here on Thursday.
NADRA officials told Online that the attackers belonged to some political parties and had badly tortured the staff before making a successful escape.
Meanwhile, SSP Clifton Nasir Aftab said that some people had turned violent when the NADRA official asked them for prerequisites of NIC and as a result they damaged the office computers.
Aftab assured that the attackers were identified and would be arrested soon. The offices of NADRA were closed down in Clifton, Defence and the adjacent areas of the city after the violent incident.
