Sargodha RPO Amjad Javaid Saleemi was transferred and posted as Lahore CCPO against an existing vacancy on Thursday with immediate effect. Born in Toba Tek Singh in 1960, Ajmad Javed Saleemi is the 15th officer posted as the CCPO in Lahore. After doing his Masters in Engineering (Geology), he joined the Police Service of Pakistan as an ASP in 1986. He was promoted to the rank of SP in 1992 and in 2008 he was promoted to the rank of DIG. Punjab Headquarters DIG Muhammad Amlish was transferred and posted as RPO Sargodha, R&D DIG Muhammad Tahir was transferred and posted as Punjab Headquarters DIG.
