While the police was sleeping, robbers had a field day on Thursday. Per details, Ijaz was robbed of Rs 46,000 and his mobile phone when robbers stopped him forcibly on Zahoor Ellahi Road. Separately, Tanveer was robbed off 6 tolas of gold and Rs 100, 000 near Meezan Bank’s Johar Town branch and escaped from the spot. Tanveer was on his way to deposit cash in the bank. In another report, four robbers entered a house in Township and took 20 tolas of gold and Rs 50, 000 in cash and escaped. In another incident, robbers entered a house in Punjab Housing Society in broad day light and took Rs 1.2 million in cash, 50 tolas of gold, two laptops and other valuables. Separately, a robber took 6 tolas of gold and Rs 150, 000 in cash on gunpoint from a family while they entered their house in Valencia Town.
