Medical report says Shahrukh an adult

The medical examination conducted on Shahrukh Jatoi, prime accused in the Shahzeb murder case, has revealed that the accused is an adult. After a medical examination of his teeth, it has been proven that Shahrukh is at least 18-year-old as he possesses all 32 teeth, including four wisdom teeth. According to medical experts, an individual must be at least 18 years of age to have a complete set of 32 teeth. Earlier in the day, six X-rays shots of Shahrukh were taken by the medical board tasked with determining his age. Shahzeb was shot dead in the Defence area of Karachi on December 25. Shahrukh is the prime suspect in the case and had fled the country. He was later extradited to Pakistan from Dubai. Sharukh has been identified as the killer by witnesses during the identification process. An anti-terrorism court had on January 17 directed the medical superintendent of Services Hospital to constitute a medical board to conduct Shahrukh’s ossification test. The previous medical report was rejected as police surgeon Dr Jalil Qadir was not eligible to pronounce Shahrukh a minor. Dr Qadri was then presented a show-cause notice and he fled the scene thereafter. It was then announced that Professor Junaid Ashraf, Principal of Dow Medical College, would head the board. The medical board comprises two forensic specialists, including Dr Farhat Mirza, three radiologists and a dental surgeon.
