Four inmates in Adiala Jail, including a foreign woman, have been diagnosed with AIDS and are undergoing treatment.
Prison Doctor Muhammad Asif said these patients were being kept in isolated rooms where their treatment had been started under the Punjab AIDS Control Programme.
Around three more inmates who have diabetes and kidney disease have been admitted to the District Headquarters and PIMS for treatment.
