Pakistan International Airline (PIA) domestic and international flights schedule was disrupted on Tuesday due to bad weather.
According to details, PIA’s flights that were affected due to bad weather included: PK 300 Karachi-Islamabad that diverted to Lahore, PK 308 Karachi-Islamabad which departed at 7 pm with a three hours delay and PK 306 Karachi –Lahore which would also leave with a three hours delay at 9 pm.
Meanwhile, PK 309 Islamabad-Karachi that was scheduled to depart at 9pm took off at 10:30 while PK 341 Faisalabad-Multan was delayed by 8 hours and departed at 5pm.
The international flights that were disrupted due to bad weather included: PK-211 Islamabad-Dubai departed at 4:40 with a five hours delay, PK 711 Islamabad-Birmingham that was scheduled to depart at 9am but left depart at 3pm.
PK 721 Karachi-Lahore-Manchester departed with a delay of 15 hours while PK 729 Karachi-Ryadhm was also delayed and departed 9 hours late.
According to PIA spokesman, the passengers should contact the authorities concerned to get flight confirmation before leaving their homes. He said that PIA staff was present at airports to facilitate the passengers.
