Bahi’s candidates elected unopposed

As many as four candidates of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have been elected unopposed on vacant seats of the Sindh provincial assembly. The seats fell vacant after four PMAs of MQM – Raza Haroon, Muhammad Ali Shah, Abdul Moiz Farooqui and Askari Taqvi tendered resignations over dual nationalities. Those members were later inducted in the Sindh cabinet as advisors and ministers. According to a notification issued on Thursday, the four candidates – Jamal Ahmed, Nadeem Hidayat Hashmi, M Ali Rashid and Dr Arshad Abdullah Vohra have been elected unopposed respectively to PS-101, PS-103, PS-113 and PS-115.
