Residents from areas along Kuri Road have requested the district administration to take immediate measures to repair dilapidated roads in their area. These residents have been facing serious problems because of broken roads, and the authorities have been reluctant to address their problems. Kuri Road had been dug up earlier for the installation of water pipelines, but has not been repaired despite the passage of several months. Local residents reported that the road had been dug up some months ago and drainage water had flooded different sections, as the drainage system had also been damaged. The authorities have, so far, paid no heed to the plight of the residents who have been requesting them to repair the road for quite a while.
