Patron Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Dr Tahirul Qadri on Thursday said that he will approach the Supreme Court of Pakistan for the reconstitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Talking to reporters in Lahore, Qadri said that he will file a petition in the Supreme Court seeking reconstitution of the ECP.
“I myself will give arguments before the court,” he added.
Qadri asserted that members of the ECP were appointed through unconstitutional procedure, adding that members of the ECP do not have any constitutional importance.
