High-level security meeting to discuss terror threats

A top-level security meeting would be called in Islamabad to discuss the terror threats faced by the country, a private TV channel reported quoting Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik.

According to the source, the meeting would be attended by officials from intelligence agencies, Police IGS, and home secretaries.

Rehman reiterated that the security threat in Karachi is real and law enforcement agencies should work to counter it, adding that he would continue to do whatever it takes to foil any attempts to counter terrorism.
