At least five more militants of banned organizations were killed and several others injured in fresh clashes raising week-long death toll to 97.
According to official sources, clashes between armed groups of defunct Lashkar-e-Islam and Ansar ul Islam continued on Thursday, the seventh consecutive day.
At least five miscreants belonging to both organizations were reported killed and several others injured in latest spate of fight.
It should be mentioned here that the clashes are going on in different areas of Khyber Agency including Tirah Valley, Bara, Jamrud and adjoining area for control of territory by both the organisations.
Dozens of families have left the troubled agency due to fighting between banned organizations while others stranded in various areas were also preparing to move to safer places. The tribesmen seem to be in a mess owing to prevailing law and order situation and have appealed the political administration to help them to migrate to safer places.
