Over 1,000 delegates have arrived in Islamabad to take part in the ENX 2013 Symposium organised by the Roots Academy for Professional and Intellectual Development. The symposium’s theme is a reflection of the prognostic vision of Roots International, “Education Next: Future of schooling”. Several educationalists, technologists, teachers, academia, media, think tanks and parents have gathered for the symposium that aspires to shape an educational system for grooming the generations to come. The outcomes of this gathering will be prominent in shaping the agenda for the next 25 years of educational contribution towards the society.
The symposium will explore new ideas in education, examine developments in subject content area or grade level, discuss best global practices from educational speakers, stretch professional development learning into new areas, technology integration, globalisation, parent, student and teachers trilateral relationships and pedagogy and curriculum enhancement.
Symposium President Walid Mushtaq said that he recognised the worth and power of the voice of parents in developing a holistic educational system.
The list of conference speakers includes three international speakers including Alan Stevens, Edrich Adigun Harris and Rachel Clare, alongside highly experienced and eminent speakers from within the country.
