Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday said that Tahirul-Qadri’s Lahore meeting and his long march to Islamabad along with his sit-in was a “planted and sponsored” show of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
He said that the permission of importing an expensive bullet-proof vehicle at the start of the long march proved that it was a pre-planned conspiracy.
In a statement, Sanaullah said that even before Tahirul-Qadri’s arrival in Pakistan, Zardari and his cronies had planned a Lahore meeting, procession and long march of Tahirul-Qadri but later enacted a drama before the people and the media. He said Asif Ali Zardari was the writer, director, producer and financer of the drama. However, he said, the drama failed despite a very good attempt at acting.
