A citizen named Waqas was robbed by two robbers on a motorbike near Ichra Super Market. Waqas was returning from State Bank afterdrawing money, when robbers stopped him forcibly near Ichra Market and robbed him of Rs 17, 00,000 at gunpoint. Another robbery incident occurred at Amir Road, Shadbagh area where robbers broke into the leather factory, took goods worth Rs 400,000 and escaped from the spot Separately, police raided a house on a tip-off and arrested a drug dealer named Sharif and recovered 150 litres of liquor from his possession in from Mission Colony, Riawind. Riawind police also arrested two criminals named Rashid and Shahzab involved in street crimes and recovered dozens of mobile phones and weapons from their possession.
