Three people, including two personnel of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), were shot dead in the coastal town of Pasni in Gwadar district on Monday morning. Per reports, the PAF personnel were shopping from Zareen Market in main Pasni bazaar when unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result, both PAF personnel were killed while a shopkeeper also died. Police and law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The deceased PAF personnel were identified as Muhammad Ibrahim from Skardu and Khurram Shahzad from Rawalpindi while the shopkeeper was named as Elahi Bukhsh, a resident of Mashkay. When contacted, Makran Division Commissioner Abdul Fatah Bhangar confirmed the killing of PAF personnel and said the assailants were on a motorbike. He said the security personnel had not informed the administration about their visit to Pasni. Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) spokesman Gowaran Baloch contacted newspaper offices from an undisclosed location and claimed responsibility for the attack.
