The radars of Civil Aviation Authority at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore malfunctioned for about 20 minutes due to technical fault.
Meanwhile the radars of Pakistan Air Force and Air Defence Command provided assistance for flights coordination and radar pictures to CAA.
The help from Armed Forces enabled smooth flight operation of airliner traffic in Pakistan airspace. The CAA radar resumed normal operations after the technical fault was fixed.
