Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Sunday announced participation in PML-N sit-in outside Parliament House for strengthening Election Commission of Pakistan (EC), a private TV channel reported.
PTI chief said, “whosoever stages sit-in for the strengthening of the EC, we would participate.”
He said they do not know if his party would participate under PML-N leadership, but it would take part in the protest.
Khan added that PTI would submit the candidates’ names for the caretaker prime minister and any nominations without consultations would result in countrywide protests.
Earlier today, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Liaqat Baloch has announced his party’s participation in PML-N sit-in in a telephonic conversation with PMLN’s Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
