At least three persons have been killed and three others died in traffic accidents in different parts of the city on Wednesday. According to police, a young man named Aamir Ali was deeply wounded in unidentified gunmen’s firing in Old City area. Later he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, three people died in road accidents in Golimar, Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Board Office area. Last night, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) provincial joint secretary and his father were shot dead in Karachi’s Defence area. Mian Taimur and Mian Arbab of the PML-N were going somewhere in their car when unidentified gunmen on motorcycles opened fire on their vehicle. Both father and son were critically injured and later died in a private hospital, police said. The incident took place in Khayaban-e-Jami Phase Seven of the Defence area within the limits of Gizri Police Station.
