Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has stressed the need for accelerating collection of tax revenue to achieve the revenue target. Presiding over a meeting of Tax Reforms Coordination Group in Islamabad on Wednesday‚ he hoped that Federal Board of Revenue will achieve the tax collection target. The meeting also discussed various proposals to facilitate business‚ reduce cost of doing business‚ avoid economic burden‚ harmonise tax laws and promote industry.
