The committee which held talks with Tehrik Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri to end his sit-in in Islamabad will brief Election Commission (EC) on the deal reached between the two parties.
On Wednesday, a meeting of legal and constitutional experts decided that removal of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) was an unconstitutional act.
It is pertinent to mention that Qadir during his long march and the subsequent sit-in had demanded electoral reforms including the sacking of CEC to make the process free, fair and transparent.
