Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday reserved its decision to allot scale symbol to Jamat-e-Islami (JI) rejecting the request by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In 2011, PTI contested elections in Gilgit-Baltistan using the symbol while JI contested 1971 elections with the electoral symbol.
Both the parties were vying for the scale as their permanent electoral symbol.
PTI has requested ECP to alternatively allot mountain or torch.

A party chief who supports the release of a killer has the temerity of requesting and getting the logo of balance "TARAXO" is a joke. Balance is the symbol of justice and a party believing in justice cannot support the release of a killer ignoring the due process of justice, no matter what the circumstances.
I think Jamaat Islami deserved the symbol because it is free of any compromises with its leadership selection which PTI seems to be failed .
