SC moved against Fasih Bokhari

A petition requesting Supreme Court (SC) to stop National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chief Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari from working was submitted at its Lahore registry on Wednesday.
The petition notes that despite widespread corruption, Bokhari has been unable to take the necessary action and has in fact worked to cover up the corruption.
The petition comes nearly a week after Kamran Faisal, an officer of the NAB investigating the rental power projects (RPP) scam, was found dead in his room under mysterious circumstances.
Faisal was investigating the scam under ‘pressure’ and had recently requested the Supreme Court to exclude him from the case in which Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf had been nominated as one of the accused.
