Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Joint Secretary Mian Taimur and his father were assassinated on Wednesday when his car was ambushed in Karachi.
According to a private TV channel, the incident took place when unknown gunmen opened fire on their car in Defense Phase VII killing Taimur and his father, Mian Arbab.
PML-N Sindh leaders Salmeem Zia and Nihal Hashmi have condemned the incident.
A large number of protesters were seen on the streets burning tyres near Kalapul area of the city while aerial firing was also heard in the adjacent areas.
This is a shocking news Mian Taimur was real leader and has lot of contribution in PML-N my condolence with his family.
This seems another try to flare up relation between Sindh and Punjab.
WHy it has to be Mian or some big man to be PML-N party position holder?
Karachi is drenched in blood because of a killing spree by two opposing forces. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Awami National Party (ANP) keep on putting the blame on each other and balancing the scorecard by equalising the number of casualties in this callous war of fear and butchery. government for blood game in Karachi, by forgetting that PPP is in coalition with MQM and ANP. PPP several time rendered its services for the solution of Karachi issues but MQM never seemed serious. Every time MQM used to blame PPP for poor law and order condition in Karachi but in fact MQM itself is playing double game that is policy of beet
and weep. MQM is just trying to malign the image of PPP by issuing derogatory statements against federal government.
