Police nabs 2 gangs, a dozen criminals

The Islamabad Police on Monday busted three groups and arrested 12 criminals involved in theft and drug peddling, and recovered various looted items worth millions of rupees. The police initiated action on the directives of Inspector General Bani Amin Khan and SSP Yaseen Farooq and arrested 12 criminals. Bara Kho Police Station arrested a group of three including Hadir Shah, Hassan Mir and Faizan, who were accused of robbery. They were nabbed in Kohisar Town and two 3-bore pistols, one 12-bore gun and ammunition were recovered from them.
CIA Sub Inspector Muhammad Ali and ASI Naseem Ahmed arrested Shan Meshi, Rastim Meshi, Babar Hussain and Javid Iqbal Abbasi who were involved in separate incidents of theft and robbery in Aabpara, Tarnol, Koral, Shahzad Town, industrial areas, Margalla and Shalimar. The police recovered snatched mobiles and cash from them.
Ramna Police Inspector Abdur Raziq arrested Nawaz Khan and recovered 80gm chars while Banigala Police ASI Nadar Ali arrested Bilal and recovered three bottles of wine.
Sub Inspector Hanif from Shahzad Town Police Station arrested Shahoor Rahmid Meshi and recovered 12 bottles of wine while Shalimar Police arrested Haleem who had been involved in theft.
