Police have decided to include Director General (DGHR) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Kausar Iqbal Malik in the Kamran Faisal death investigation.

Kausar Iqbal Malik is accused of mounting pressure on Kamran Faisal on three different points. The first point was that Kamran should give an affidavit that he be isolated from rental power case investigations. Second was that he should hand over a plain paper duly signed by him and third that Kamran should tender resignation with a written plea that he had done so under the pressure from Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). But Kamran Faisal rejected these three points.

Sources said police was of the view that DG (HR) NAB would be arrested if need be. Polyclinic administration had claimed record pertaining to medical examination of Kamran Faisal was not available in the hospital. The police team probing into Kamran Faisal death had taken away the medicines from the hospital which were recovered from the room of deceased NAB officer, hospital administration stated.

The investigation team requested the hospital management that Kamran Faisal had undergone psychological treatment in the hospital and the prescription chit carried the signatures of Dr Najma.

The hospital administration wrote a letter to Station House Officer of Aabpara police that no record in respect of Kamran Faisal was available in OPD and Psychological department of the hospital.

On the other hand NAB officers have announced to continue their pen down strike till their demands are accepted.

The employees of NAB expressed lack of trust on the judicial commission announced by the government demanding that the commission be constituted under serving judge. They also demanded that a sum of Rs 20 million be paid to the family members of late Kamran Faisal.

  1. Kamran Faisal's death must be thoroughly investigated. But the demand of NAB officers to get the inquiry done by a sitting judge of SC or Tariq Khosa brother of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa or Justice (R) Ramday clearly speak of some conspiracy by Army and/or Iftikhar Chaudhry. Otherwise, there is no need to demand inquiry by biased people.

  2. There should be no doubt in any body,s mind that PPP leadership and Chairman NAB in behind this murder. These PPP cronies must be hanged in public. There will never to any conclusion to this investigation. Culprits are sitting in high offices. Public must revolt and attack physically this PPP leadership. and darg them on streets and hang them publically. If they dont that these crooks will continue to rape, loot and pluder.

  3. chief justice seems to be behind this murder,as he is conspiring to implicate raja pervaiz ashraf in rpp case.chief justice must resign immediately.

  4. yes i agree ,this lot of judges has done lot of damage to the image of judiciary, they must be sacked and jailed

  5. Raja Rental should be behind bars, while Fasih should resign and allow a credible investigation into this murder and RPP scam. If the Jiyalas were to have their way, Tauqir Sadiq would be Chairman NAB

  6. It is fashion to blame PPP, jiyalas and this governemnt for anything even for fog. They always came out clean with their flag higher and higher. Shame for the opponents of this government.

    • because its fashion in PPP to do the corruption no matter what! they always came back on basis of sympathy, they never cleared from courts on corruption but hide behind deals like NRO and Presidential immunity!
The blood of this poor NAB official is so cheap, that a corruption of handing out multi millions of dollars by Raja Rental and masters stay hidden!

      Allah who knows better!

  7. @just; these corrupt PPP creeps deserve more than just blame. Inshallah they will rot in their graves and Allah shall do justice. ameen. These incompetant fools have forgotten that they have to leave this world one day.

  8. Why not investigate CJ and three to four judges of SC who might be responsible due to the pressure they exert on government officials by threatening them on every occasion they appear in their court rooms??? Yes, judges can not do this job (murder) but their masters are known for dirty jobs.
