Hospital refuses to extend medical facilities to IESCO

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) hospital officials have refused to provide medical facilities to employees over the non-payment of last year’s pending dues worth Rs 120 million.
According to sources, IESCO authorities had not paid dues to the hospital for extending medical facilities to in-service and retired IESCO employees from January to December 2012. In response to this, the hospital had refused to extend medical facilities to employees, causing mass unrest among them.
