The Federal Ministry has approved the recommendation by OGRA to increase the price of petrol. The price hike of Rs1.73 per litre will be effective from midnight January 21st.
The price of high speed diesel would be reduced by Rs0.20 per litre.
This would then make the new prices Rs 130.15 per litre for petrol and Rs 109.93 per litre for high speed diesel.
The increase is due to the monthly review conducted in order to match prices with the international rates of oil.
