Police have registered a case against Tariq Anis, member of National Assembly from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for allegedly subjecting joint secretary of ministry of housing and works to violence. Earlier, joint secretary of ministry of housing and works Ghulam Sarwar Awan filed an application with secretariat police seeking registration of a case against PPP MNA Tariq Anis on the plea that the MNA had subjected him to violence, but the police did not register an FIR. Later, the applicant approached additional sessions’ court and filed an application therein under section 22A. The court heard the case and ordered that action be taken on the application and an FIR be registered against Tariq Anis, MNA. FIR No. 3 has been registered by the secretariat police in compliance of the order.
Police didn't register a case against Tariq Anis an MNA belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party, for violence against a Public Servant. Police didn't do anything wrong or against the established norm of our society which is managed, controlled and governed by the Feudal.
Democracy in the holy land is for the Feudal by the Feudal which takes its revenge from the helpless.
Both these guys deserve what they get. The MNA will walk scott free after oiling some palms.
The Joint secretary must have been under the intoxication of his post and position.He forgot " He who has the stick tends the flock.".
