The Rawal Town Municipal Administration (RTMA) on Friday demolished 8 shops and two residential buildings that had been constructed in violation of approved maps in different localities of the city.
According to an RTMA spokesman, the enforcement directorate had bulldozed 8 shops that were under construction in Pindora and two residential buildings. A house in Satellite Town was also sealed for violating building bylaws.
Inspector Tariq Yousaf, along with other staff members, conducted raids and razed illegal structures after Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa told the enforcement directorate to accelerate the ongoing operation against violators of the building bylaws.
