Preparations for commemorating Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) are gaining momentum and roads and buildings are being decorated with colourful buntings, banners and fancy lights in the twin cities. Large banners and gigantic billboards are being displayed across the cities to celebrate the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Mosques, homes and plazas are being decorated with colourful lights and buntings.
The main procession in Islamabad will start from the Police Ground in Sector G/7. In case of rain, the procession will begin from the Mosque Jamia Al-Raza in Markaz G/7. A Miladun Nabi conference will be held before the procession commences. The International ‘Milad’ Mustafa rally will commence from Rawat on Sunday. The rally will culminate at G/9 Karachi Company, after passing through the Islamabad Highway.
Special programmes are being prepared to pay tribute and highlight different aspects of the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life. On Rabi-ul-Awal 12, Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions will also be carried out in different areas of Rawalpindi. Milad committees have been busy finalising the schedule of Mahafil-e-Naat.
Various social, cultural, educational institutions and religious organisations are also finalising programmes to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervour. All bazaars, commercial shopping centres, government and private buildings are being illuminated for the occasion.
