Tehrik Minhajul Quran leader Dr Tahirul Qadri arrived after the sit-in ended following an agreement with the government.
Speaking to reporters, Dr Qadri said the long march was successful and congratulated the entire nation.
He added that if the agreement signed with the government was not implemented, they reserved the right to take extreme measures.
The sit-in was ended by Tahirul Qadri after an agreement was reached with the government on Thursday night. The agreement was termed the ‘Islamabad Long March Declaration’.
I must confess Dr.Qadri i did not know much about you until recently. I had seen you occasionally on the PTV and was impressed ithe your eloqence though not with the content. Your finger pointing appeared to be threatning rather than guiding. It is only recently –thanks to Pakistan Today i found that you are a political asylum seeker from your own country{your blood and belonging}. From being a politician cleric in pakistan you became a cleric politician and returned to pakistan for a sojurn and decided to upset the apple cart. Now what has changed on the morgning after the night before–nothing. If you really had the interest and the wellfare of your ?countrymen at heart why did you not sleep and camp with them in the open but they are no more yours!
I presume you will return soon to your chosen country and claim "mission accomplished" To me first you were unknown unknown but thanks to the media you have become a unknown known and i am disappointed to say the least. Evangical Politicians tend to have a short shelf time. Yours is over! Long march was for others -yuo were in a car.

You called yourself 'Hussaini force' and entered into an agreement with 'yazeedi' force over petty benefits like getting yourself recognized as a stakeholder in the sham system you had come to overthrow. I thank the Allah and His Rasul (SAWS) for having exposed this man as a liar, capable of drama and deception. I also thank the scholars from Al Azhar that exposed him as a phony from the point of Sharia. They pointed out the exact things that Altaf Sahib just mentioned!
