Mo Farah on Thursday insisted he had to forget a superb year in 2012 and remains as hungry as ever for success. He won double Olympic gold, celebrated the birth of twin daughters and was rewarded for his efforts with a CBE in the year. Farah gave himself a well-deserved month off following his historic victories over 5,000 and 10,000 metres at the London Games, but is already back in training in Kenya, clocking up more than 100 miles a week. This year’s focus is firmly on retaining his world title over 5,000m in Moscow in August – and adding the 10,000m for good measure – with a move up to the marathon put off until 2014 at the earliest.
