A man was killed allegedly by his brother-in-laws for marrying a woman without the permission of her family, police said on Wednesday.
According to details, Ali Raza Mahmood, a resident of Mehmood Booti, was a welder by profession and had contacted a marriage with Farzana without the permission of the latter’s family.
The deceased’s brothers have filed cases against the girl’s brothers Sultan and Riaz. “Ali Raza got a phone call from an unidentified number and Ali Raza left the house abusing the person on the other side of the phone. As soon he stepped out of the house, two armed assailants opened fire at him,” Ali Abbas said.
Abbas said he would get the call records of his brother’s number and hand it over to the police. Talking to Pakistan Today, Abbas said Ali Raza had no enmity with anyone. “He was living peacefully with his wife Farzana and was about to leave to meet our mother,” he said.
Those two brothers who killed this man must be arrested and prosecuted. They should be put in jail under solitary confinement for rest of their life.
