Two children lost their lives due to measles in Kasur on Wednesday. Bilal Ahmed, a traffic warden said two of his nephews, Ahmed and Ijaz had contracted measles. He said Ahmed died five days ago while, Ijaz succumbed to the disease a couple of days later. The funeral prayers of both children were offered in Bhasarpura graveyard. Moreover, Bilal said his other nephew and niece Azam and Tayyaba had also fallen prey to measles. He asked the administration to take proper steps to stop the spread of the deadly disease in the area.
