A robber was killed on Tuesday while his accomplice managed to escape in a cross-fire with police in Lakho Dehr area of Lahore.
According to details, the police signaled two armed men to stop who did not have a registration number plate on their motorcycle. However, instead of stopping, the alleged robbers opened fire at the police and tried to flee. In retaliatory fire, one alleged robber was killed on the spot while his accomplice managed to escape. Police also recovered arms from the possession of the deceased.
The body of the deceased was taken to a hospital for post-mortem.
