Islamabad Police has arrested 20 outlaws from various areas of the city during the last three days and recovered five cars, six pistols, 10 kilogrammes of opium and 3 kilogrammes of hashish from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.
According to details, SSP Yaseen Farooq had directed all police officials to carry out strict patrolling and vigilance in their respective jurisdictions. Special police teams had been constituted for this purpose and 20 outlaws were arrested in the last three days, and five tempered and stolen cars, six pistols, a 12-bore gun, 10kg opium and 3kg hashish had been recovered from their possession. Yaseen appreciated their performance and directed them to ensure effective policing.
