Atleast 10 people were injured when a bomb exploded near a police van in Quetta on Tuesday.
Per details, the blast targeted a police van patrolling at cattle market, Sibbi Road adjacent to Eastern Bypass. As a result of blast the police van was partially damaged while several policemen sustained wounds. The injured were rushed to Quetta Civil Hospital where doctors pronounced conditions of all the injured people as stable. Heavy contingent of law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene following the blast and cordoned off the area.
Meanwhile three police personnel were injured due to a bomb blast at Baghra Road of Chaman.
Per details, three policemen identified as Asmatullah, Muhammad Nasim and Sajjad Hussain sustained injuries. Rescue teams shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment and police initiated investigations into the incident.
