The Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) reached an agreement with the administration regarding the long march activities on Monday. According to sources, negotiations between TMQ leaders and Assistant Commissioner Tariq Mehmood Pirzada were successful, after which the administration allowed the TMQ to hold a rally in front of the Islamabad Stock Exchange on Jinnah Avenue. According to the agreement, participants of the march would not go anywhere outside the specified site, and after Qadri’s address, would disperse peacefully. There would also be no entry into the Red Zone, sources said. The negotiations detailed that no one would be allowed to enter the congregation site without submitting to a search and all female participants would be searched by female volunteers. Participants would not indulge in violent activity. No slogans would be chanted against the state and no one would be allowed to carry weapons inside the rally. All vehicles would be parked at the specified parking lot. The distance between participants and the stage would be around 200 feet.
