All visitors who do not have their original Comperised National Identity Card (CNIC) with them will not be allowed to enter Camp Jail, Superintendent Ejaz Asghar said on Sunday.
“Under the new security arrangements, no visitor will be allowed to enter jail premises without an original national identity card or the name of the inmate he or she wishes to meet. All this will be recorder,” he said.
He said that no visitor would be allowed to meet prisoners after the scheduled time and in case of any security lapse, deputy superintendents and assistant superintendent would be taken to task.
“Use of mobile phones during duty hours has also been banned for the jail administration,” he said.
