The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) on Sunday appealed to members of the legal fraternity and bar associations all over the country to observe a ‘Mourning Day’ for the Quetta carnage on Monday (today).
The council severely criticised the government functionaries for failure to address the grievances and demands of families affected in the Quetta blasts.
The body urged members of the legal fraternity not to appear in courts, and express solidarity with the bereaved families.
They also requested the federal government to dismiss the government of Balochistan and bring the culprits to justice.
