Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Aslam Tareen on Saturday finalised security arrangements in the city for Tahrik-e-Minhajul Quran long march on January 14. According to a spokesman for CCPO office, Aslam Tareen met Tahrik-e-Minhajul Quran leader Raheeq Abbasi and assured him of foolproof security in the city to the participants of the long march. The CCPO said 10,000 policemen would be deployed on routes of the long march in the city and four SPs would monitor security arrangements while 36 commandos will perform their duties with Tahirul Qadri’s vehicle.
