The Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML_Q) leadership on Friday urged Tehreek e Minhajul Quran (TMQ) Chief Tahirul Qadri to call off his long march scheduled for January 14.
PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat and Deputy Prime Minister Pervaiz Elahi called on the TMQ chief at his model town residence. The PML-Q leadership underscored that they had visited the TMQ chief as representatives of all Parliamentary parties. During a press conference held after the meeting, the PML-Q chief said that he had discussed the agenda of the meeting with President Asif Ali Zardair and advised Qadri to postpone his long march as the government was seriously considering endorsing his demands. He concluded that consensus would be reached soon. Meanwhile, TMQ chief Dr Qadri said that talks were always welcomed by him, adding, that cordial relations with party heads did not sum up to canceling or postponing the march which according to him is against the prevalent status quo. Qadri said that he was open to negotiations and was looking forward for the final round on a table in Islamabad.
Deputy Prime Minister Pervaiz Elahi addressing the audience said that the government would try to fulfill the demands of TMQ even if the march commenced. Concluding proceedings, Qadri said that the government had offered negotiations ‘too late’, adding that the preparations for the march had been finalized and the march would commence at its schedule date and hour.

is there anyone to ask the PML-Q, if you are part of the government, what the hell are you marching for? Peanuts?
MQM has got its price encashing Dr Qadri; while PMLQ is trying to make hay while the sun shines. The poor people get nothing out of such marches like what Tahrir Square got. Most probably it will be called off.

Anytime the government gets involved with something things start to suffer. Just look at the American education system.. bulk pagerank checker
